Body pages are good with some occasional finger soiling.on a couple of pages. Wraps have some browning and chipping of the edges. Some of the tears on the wrap have been repaired with document tape on the backside. Rare Monograph w US Slave State Map . Published in Paris, 1798. 384 numbered pages then several pages for an advertisement sample for another book. French language. Binding is tight. Leather hinge is cracked on the front and partially on the the back cover. Inside hinges are good. Moisture stain at the front until mid way through the book. It disappears until the last 20 pages. Nice cleaner copy.
