This is sold as is. Please look at all info and ask any questions you have before you purchase. Thank you. Cole was a hard-left political activist who joined the Communist Party-USA in 1934. He was convicted of contempt of Congress and served a year in prison. After his release, he worked odd jobs and emigrated to London in 1961. He later returned to the United States and wrote screenplays under the pseudonym "Gerald L.C. Copley". One of his scripts, Born Free (1966), was a popular movie. Cole died of a heart attack in 1985 at the age of 81. Please note these were part of Lester?s personal collection in storage and some of the photos have bonded together with wax paper - if you see wax paper in the image the back image is free. Pulling apart may not be ideal.
