Description: welcome to my only rude item.... Althought it pains me to do so, the rudeness is by me... as this item requires it... due to the sorts of replies i get by "some people" on this item. This listing is JUST for the small screw that has a special thread at the end of the trafficator lens... but, apparently... this is too difficult for some to comprehend. Type-one person is by far in the majority and just buys the item as shown here.Type-two person says " why does this cost so much for what it is?... sends abuse and vitriole... "..... Of course, there is no way they are going to investigate the obscure thread, find out that there is only one manufacturer in the world, and that manufacturer is in the USA and will not send overseas, and then use an expensive commercial freight forwarder from USA to Australia with Fedex. No, they are just going to sit on their arse and moan about a few bux. To this person I simply say "bugger off".Type-3 person fails to read that it is a screw, and thinks they are going to get a trafficator for a few bux. (yes, really!!!! I have had many of these... even with all the text below, they still march in). This is the person to whom the following few paragraphs are dedicated.... (prior to the actual item-description) **** READ THE TEXT... READ THE TEXT.... AND BE ABSOLUTELY AMAZED... TRULY, IT IS INCREDIBLE...... ASTOUNDINGLY, AMAZINGLY... I AM STILL GETTING PEOPLE THINKING THEY ARE GETTING THE ENTIRE TRAFFICATOR OR LENS FOR $7.50!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! EVEN WITH ALL THIS BELOW!!!!!!!! and the text inside the photo too.... TRULY, I AM LOST FOR WORDS....***THIS ITEM IS ONLY THE SMALL SCREW AS A TINY PART... IT IS NOT THE LENS FOR $7.50. IT IS NOT A TRAFFICATOR FOR $7.50... i absolutely despair... even with the extreme tautology below... i just got yet another USA clown thinking he is buying an entire trafficator for $7.50... when you read this item below, you will just shake your head in disbelief... i say this a total of about 20 times in the text !!!!!! But, still the marching morons buy the screw expecting lenses or trafficators for their $7.50 and $3 post... sending me abusive emails. Sure I can refund and then block them forever, but it just boggles the mind... have a read... and you too will behold the 8th wonder of the low-IQ world... (unless you are one of course...) NOTE THIS LISTING IS ONLY THE SCREW. I REPEAT , IT IS ONLY THE SCREW. I REPEAT IT IS ONLY THE SCREW. attention attention, hello, hello... listen carefully... I REPEAT, IT IS ONLY THE SCREWI REPEAT AGAIN, IT IS ONLY THE SCREW IT IS NOT THE LENS, NOR IS IT THE TRAFFICATOR, NOR IS IT A CAR, NOR IS IT THE SYDNEY HARBOUR BRIDGE... THE PRICE SHOULD GIVE YOU A CLUE... (sorry for the tautology but, jesus... there's some bloody clowns out there, one idiot ordered ten "trafficators" to USA ... )(and yet another twit a week later) This listing is for the small SLOTTED ROUND-HEAD MACHINE-SCREW for a trafficator lens. This listing is NOT for a lens (!!). This listing is NOT for a trafficator (!!!) This listing is NOT for a lens (!!). This listing is NOT for a trafficator (!!!) This listing is JUST for the small screw that has a special thread at the end of the trafficator lens. Believe it or not, the outer end of both a modern and an old lucas trafficator lens has a very exact, quite particular female thread in it… Not only that… whoever manufactures the modern ones has gone to the trouble of reproducing this old obscure thread that has been used in these for seventy years now. This thread is ultimately critical in holding on the top cover. So, it seem a shame to force in whatever you can find… In fact I have had many pairs of trafficators from renovators who otherwise do a good job, but even they use incorrect ones. Using the wrong bolt/thread can cause a loose fit… or worse, it eventually splits the lens. If it is right it will screw in easily, firmly, quickly almost by hand. You can feel it is correct as it just glides in snugly all the way with no wiggle at all. This listing therefore is the special machine screw that fits an SF 80 and SF34 and SF40 trafficator lens. The lenses in the picture are examples of an sf80-old-school and an sf80 new-retro and are only there to show you an example, you do NOT get the lens. This is the correct 1950's thread and is fiendishly obscure!! But I have found some in USA after a lot of searching... Not only that, they are also a SLOTTED ROUND MACHINE SCREW... not allen-key or torx or bullethead, or bolt-head... there are so many WRONG combinations of head even if you find the correct thread !!... which is really wacky by itself... The photos show both an old lens and a new lens with the same screw. These lenses are not included in the sale. DON'T BODGE IT... GET THE RIGHT ONE Read my lens listing for many tips on using retro lens, festoons etc for your trafficators. Read also my NOS chrome cover listing for info on what NOT to buy there too!! To look for items in my shop, it is easiest to look in the yellow box of "shop categories". Select the category of interest and all items in that category will appear. It is much easier than keywords. Alternatively, if it is not showing, then select “visit store” at the top right (NOT “see other items” !!!) and the yellow box will be thereFor example "BRAKE" or "TRAFFICATOR parts" or "LIGHTS" or "AXLES" or "COOLING" etc etc
