After claim is filed, if the shipper is the PO, they may send you a letter requesting you to bring item to the post office for inspection. This can not be done prior to filing claim because USPS indicates everything has to be done in order they are requesting. PO also indicates that items can not be returned to seller and items must be kept in buyers possession until final decision is made (payment).
