Description: leland blue stone Slag Glass is actually not a rock/stone. It’s actually a by-product from the iron smelting that occurred in the 1800’s in northern Michigan. Not all of Leland blue stones will be blue. They range from a whitish blue to blue, and some can even be like a darker green. These stones can round up to $100 per pound and can be made into some pretty jewelry. I do have more Leland blue stone and even bigger with nice chunks of iron metal in them. Those I do not have posted because a price is not decided on that. If you are interested in something along those lines, feel free to message me and ask about them and I will send you a photo and we can discuss a price negotiation.
