Description: Leisegang OptiK Model 1 German-made tilt-base colposcope. As you can see in the pictures, the colposcope has a powerful light beam, dispaying the light through its excellent German optics, including the green filter for amazing viewing of vasculature, acetowhite areas, etc.. This basic colposcope has adjustable light intensity. Due to its tilt base, gross focusing is simple, plus fine focusing utilizes a separate, attached twist handle. Extra-fine focusing is possilbe with the individually adjustable eye pieces accomodating, if need be, separate prescriptions/needs of each of the operator's eyes. Adding further functionality and ease of use is being able to efforlessly customize the interoccular distance between the eyes. Numerous adjustments to the colposcope's height, angle of the visualization head, and more, makes performing a colposcopic examination easy on the back, neck, and arms. The 3D stereoscopic visualization is beautiful. The tilt base keeps this colposcope stable both while in use and at rest. This instrument is an oldie but a goodie. It has been a totally reliable workhorse. New, these simple colposcopes cost considerably more than $10,000.
