Description: A couple of very old postcards extracted from a MASSIVE photographer’s ESTATE in Clearwater Florida. I’m not sure if these are the original sizes or if they have been cut down but you’re getting the two that you see here they are both obviously Europe one of them is Maked Leipzig, Berlin. One is square & measures 3x3” perfectly square which makes me believe maybe original but I’ve never seen one this small or square for that matter, if so. The bigger one is approximately 3x5” Not sure if these are hotels or religious buildings. If you look closely at the one on top you can see it looks a little bit like a mosque with the gold dome in the back part. Condition is good there are some imperfections the photos are my best description I’ve done a little research and I’ll be honest I don’t know a ton about postcards but these look and feel like Ambro type prints I’m guessing they’re late 1800s and early 1900s but again I could be wrong about that please use your best judgment based on the photos that I have provided. A COA from the estate will come with your purchase George Fulmer. Photographer for the city of Clearwater for over half a century. Also a Navy enlisted photographer during WW2. After cleaning out the residence & studio in 2014, we have been sorting through over 100,000 photographs for the last 10 years, and are finally offering some of the best ones up for sale individually. As the estate gains recognition and momentum here, we will begin to list more and more, some in sets, and some for auction as well. We hope to Bring recognition to his life's work as well as to find homes for the history of an entire city as documented by the city photographer. The photographs include everything you would've expected a city photographer to have been present for, from weddings, to new construction, aerial photographs, sporting events, school events, press photography, police, Jaycees, and a really nice , but VERY LIMITED collection of nude photographs from a nudist camp that is still in operation here today. Even more limited, there were a handful of war photographs and film that we were able to save, but it was not much as unfortunately for some reason, he had stored the war photographs outside where they were exposed to the weather, and sadly they had been completely destroyed. The photos that are being offered here were well preserved, found inside the home and studio, in a cool, dry, cellar type setting. FOLLOW US ON EBAY !!! This is quite a project for only two curators, so please follow us, and be patient as we slowly unveil the contents of this massive estate. And always, if you see something that you like, please make an offer!! Shipping will be by priority mail unless otherwise requested.
