Description: Leica Leitz Wetzlar summitar collapsible 50 f2 uncoated ___________________________________________________________________________________________ Original Leica Leitz Wetzlar summitar 50mm / 5cm F2 .The lens makes decent pictures it is not in good shape but it does achive focus and work , produces pictures with a bit of fog at F2 it gets better at 2.8 and good at f4. Pictures looks similar to a pro mist filter . The lens it's not in optimal condition .Produces pictures as shown for experimental usage. Comes with generic back cap. ( Lens digitally tested on leica M8 , Please see the gallery ,the sample photos taken have minimal to none edit , no defog , no heavy changes , no sharpening , they could look way different with more edition) Cosmetic: Good. Marks , Brassing , chrome damage , paint damage. Mechanical: diaphragm and focus mechanism work well , diaphragm blades in good condition , collapisble works. Lens it's not tight it some mechanical parts feels a bit loose but works. Infinity lock pin it's missing so it does not work it makes a little bit harder to operate. Optics: normal dust , some dust , mostly clear ,some haze , front element decent condition minimal cleaning marks and scratches . Back elements are in good condition too.
