Description: Specifications Brand Name: Leica Product code: LEICA Serial Number: 64617 Condition: MINT- Description Very nice and interesting conversion of a Leica I to IIIA Syn in Chrome (!!!). In the past it was possible to upgrade the cameras. Most of these conversion were in black as the original camera was in black too. The one offered here is in chrome and as the top plate of the rangefinder house is a bit different as from the lower top plate this comes was probably upgraded in 2 stages. The first upgrade was from the Leica I to Leica Standard so the camera had an interchangeable lens, finder and speeding times from 1/20 until 1/500. After that it was upgraded from the Leica Standard to the Leica IIIA Syn. After that upgrade the camera was supplied with a rangefinder, speeding times from 1 until 1/1000, strap lugs and was also synchronized. The upgrade was quite expensive as that time but of course more interesting as buying a new camera. Camera is technically in perfect working condition. Speeding times are accurate. Some small signs of use are visible but nothing too bad. Great interesting camera. Tax Prices are export prices and exclusive of VAT. Duties and/or taxes are the buyer's responsibility.
