The inside rim diameter of the Legends Viper is .605", but the rim is not very wide (similar to a Schilke rim). The contour of the rim is inside is medium with some bite, and outside is medium round. The cup is a shallow to very shallow V-bowl, similar in depth to Bach E/F. Although it is shallow, this cup has a little more depth than most small diameter pieces, which is helpful for players with thicker lips. The rim and cup are based on a top created by Greg Black, and Legends Brass has added a tight throat (#30) and the Legends Manhattan backbore. With the Viper, your upper register will be a deadly threat!
