My parents received this as a wedding gift, in Vancouver in 1940. My father was working in Dutch Harbor, Alaska, and my mother took the train up from Colorado. She brought the book back and gave it to my grandmother. I inherited it from her in 1968. I've kept it stored away in a smoke-free, pet-free home since then.
