Leblanc Cadenza Wood Bb Clarinet: Just Serviced w/ New Pads plus 2 Mouthpieces!

Description: This Leblanc Cadenza is the result of a collaboration between Leblanc and Backun in Canada. This would be considered an upper-intermediate model. It originally retailed for about $2,600. This one is in great shape. The silver key plating is excellent and the corks and springs are in good condition. The body of the clarinet has very few minor scratches from normal use. It comes with a ringless Backun 66mm barrel. The instrument was just serviced: taken apart and polished, all new Valentino pads were installed, plus it was lubricated and the key height adjusted when it was re-assembled. I've found that often it's the small adjustments that make a big difference in how enjoyable an instrument is to play. I started playing clarinet 60 years ago and these days I restore clarinets exclusively. Over the years I've refurbished more than 1,200 of these Bb clarinets, many of which have been sold here on eBay. After testing this clarinet, I've found that it does everything well- it plays easily from top to bottom and has a beautifully resonant sound. This clarinet comes with a the original Cadenza mouthpiece, which is not very impressive. The second mouthpiece is a new Clark Fobes Debut, which sounds exceptional.
