This back has been tested – by me -- and is in fully functional condition. As one of the photos will show, this one was made in 2007. For digital tech, that’s pretty old, but this thing was made very well, and is in amazing shape. It’s had 17,298 frames taken with it, meaning it’s been only lightly used. Both the LCD screen and the sensor itself have been well-protected by a solid aluminum cover for the sensor, and a clear plastic one for the LCD. Nearly all the wear on this kit is on that plastic cover. I had this up on eBay, not knowing what camera it was meant to attach to, when someone reached out to me to tell me that it was for the Hasselblad H Series. He has one, so I trust he knows what he's saying, but I haven't attached this back to one. If it turns out to be untrue, I'll be happy to take it back. The back will come with all the cables I got with it, one of which allows it to be ‘tethered’ to a computer, and another which can connect it to any lens or camera with a standard flash sync port. I tested the back on a 2x3 view camera that came with an adapter, as well as on a Mamiya RB67, with a different adapter. You’ll also get a battery*** and charger. I found that, if this after-market battery is depleted but not yet dead, the touch screen will not respond. So, I’d recommend that a buyer get at least one more battery, which come in versions with more capacity than this one (though that adds a bit of weight). Also, if you buy it and, at some point, find a problem with the touch screen, charge the battery! (I wonder if the original batteries had some kind of shut off when they reached a certain state of charge.) By the way, this back might seem pretty so-so to some. After all, what’s a mere 33 MP in this day and age? The thing is, those MPs come on a sensor that is exactly twice the physical size of a full frame DSLR or mirrorless camera. The 48 x 36 sensor is like two full frame 24 x 36 sensors stacked on top of each other. This means that the 33 million pixels on the sensor are far larger than those in a normal DSLR; about twice as large, in fact, for a camera with a similar number of pixels. Larger pixels mean more dynamic range, which makes for better, smoother tones. I lucked out and got eight of these ‘older’ backs, and I’m keeping two for myself – including a 75s. They are opening up a whole new way for me to do photography. Pricing things like this is really difficult. If you think my asking price (based on whatever similar things I could find that have recently sold here) is too high, PLEASE write to me with a different – reasonable! – suggestion. Or just make an offer. I really am willing, even happy, to negotiate. ***Shipping Lithium-ion batteries overseas is illegal in the USA, so I will not include one if a foreign buyer gets this. But this is a freely available size, so should be easy enough to find elsewhere.
