Description: Limoges Trinket Box Uber unique Limoges trinket/dresser box by Le Tallec. Possibly the finest maker of Limoges boxes is Le Tallec. This is the most unique color I have ever seen a Limoges box produced in. It is a very understated yellow. I’ve actually never seen this exact shade before. I’m guessing it must be a natural dye. It reminds me a forsythia flower yellow. It is a larger than average Limoges boxes at approximately 3.5” long. It is in great vintage condition. This box has a double B date code placing its production in 1941. Coincidentally that was the very first year the date code system was introduced. It’s nice to have some early pieces in your Le Tallec collection. This is a very nice object with plenty of space for jewelry or other small trinkets.
