Description: Up for sale is a copy of a book titled, "LE PARADIS TRICOLORE" par l'oncle Hansi. Published in 1915 by H. Floury, Editeur, Paris. The book is entirely in French. Jean-Jacques Waltz (23 February 1873-10 June 1851), also known as "Oncle Hansi" was a French artist of Alsatian origin. He was a staunch pro-French activist, and is famous for his cute drawings, some of which contain harsh critiques of the Germans of the time. He was also a French hero of both World War I and World War II. The boards are in Acceptable Condition. They have heavy wear, browning, stains, and discoloration. The boards are loose and the spine is cracked. The cloth is tearing and fraying around the edges and the spine. The spine is missing and the cloth is completely torn and fraying. The corners are bumped and fraying. Inside the front board, the seem is split and you can see the internal webbing. The interior pages are in Good+ Condition. There is browning to the pages. Some stains on a few pages. There are a few nicks and chips along the edges. However, the drawings are still very bring and nice! Other dings here and there.
