Care instructions: Normal washing at a maximum temperature of 60 °C / 140 °F. Never wash less than 40°C / 160°F. Do not bleach. Do not tumble dry (this tends to weaken the fibers and fade the fabric). Iron at a maximum soleplate temperature of 200°C / 392°F (3 dots). No professional dry cleaning. Normal professional wet cleaning. Before using for the first time, Le Jacquard Francais recommends soaking in cold water without laundry detergent. They say this removes the finish on the fabric and prevents stains from adhering to the fabric. Note: Le Jacquard Francais products are treated to control shrinkage--but shrinkage of about 4% is normal after the first wash. This item comes from a smoke free, pet free home.
