Description: This is a rare programme (playbill) from the November 8th, 1972 ROYAL PREVIEW PERFORMANCE of the Original West End production of the CHARLES STROUSE, LEE ADAMS, BETTY COMDEN and ADOLPH GREEN musical comedy "APPLAUSE" at Her Majesty's Theatre in London. (The Original Broadway production opened March 30th, 1970 at New York's Palace Theatre and ran for 896 performances. The London production would officially open November 16th, 1972 and run for 382 performances.) ..... The Benefit Performance with Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth in attendance, aided the Injured Jockeys Fund.
