I used a pro v1 ball and had 2 missed hits out of 50 shots. Also, it's important to use the calibration accessory that comes with the unit. For accuracy I marked the ball placement on the mat and used that marking as reference to place the ball. Also logo should face unit. Once again it's an amazing unit for the price.
