The Sycamores won 76-74, with Bird scoring 35 points, 16 rebounds and 9 assists. Two days later Magic Johnson and the Michigan State Spartans would defeat Larry Bird and the Sycamores 75-64, Magic the high scorer with 24 points to Bird's 19, leading the Spartans to their first ever NCAA basketball championship. 1970's color 120 format film basketball transparencies are not often seen.
