Description: Larrivee L-03R Special JCL Rosewood Limited Edition 2014 Natural Satin. Stunningly Beautiful Larrivee L-03R. The rosewood on this guitar is amazing to look at. The satin finish gives it a richness not seen in a high gloss finish. The Canadian Sitka spruce top has wonderful warm tones that translate into a sweet, sweet sound. This guitar was manufacture in July 2014. For a limited run, it sold with the "JCL" headstock logo. An interesting, and symmetrical, Celtic inspired design. I have upgraded the tuners to have black buttons like the higher end Larrivees. Plays super easy. The action perfect and is very low and easy to fret. This model has an all solid wood construction. Sides and back are Rosewood. Top is Canadian Sitka spruce. One piece mahogany neck with a ebony fingerboard. Body is lined with Canadian maple. Also features symmetrical parabolic x bracing. This Larrivee is in excellent shape, with a one very small scratch on the top near the neck, pictured. Please go over photos and ask all questions before purchase. The tweed case is included and has an arched top for added protection and strength. We will pack the guitar and case in a professional guitar box. This guitar does not appear to have been played, ever, based on the lack of fret wear, absence of normal scratches, etc. If not for the one scratch on the top it would be classified as new or mint.
