Description: This amazing and rare hand carved wooden pestle and mortar is entirely handmade and hand carved out of one piece of wood all done with primitive hand tools in the 1950's in Turkey. I've never seen anything like it, it is perfectly rustic. This piece is very unique and rare and a wonderful collector's piece.The wood has signs of its age, it could still be used but I recommend it as a beautiful display piece.
