Description: This is a Large Vintage Railroad Lantern with Bracket Fantastic lantern used on the railroad system. Not counting the handle it measures 18 1/2" tall by 7 1/2" square. The bottom has a square 4 leg bracket most likely used to secure lantern in the rail yard or on the tracks. The burner compartment is in good condition - a new wick is needed as well as a new chimney as the current one has a crack in it but taped together for reference. The burner is made by Kosmos Brenner. Overall great condition for age. Their are two sides that have the white and red triangles painted on the lantern. Top handle for carrying.No chips or cracks in the glass. Solid and heavy duty. Feel free to contact us should you have any questions.
