Description: VINTAGE HAWAIIAN TIKI ROOM HEAD LAMPSWorking pair of giant tiki head lamps. Appears to be a glazed ceramic type construction, very well made. The lamps are a rich dark brown and coppery color. They're also huge -- they measure approx 27.5" from floor to top of socket, and bases are approx 7.5" square.They cast an impressive gaze and also have a beautiful decorative side profile! Both are tested and work perfectly and take 3-way bulbs. Cords are excellent. Only very minor signs of wear, a few small fleck marks where some paint has been removed and very light like marks, but no cracks or chips on these. This particular pair was rescued out of a mid-century modern estate in the early 2000s, at the dawn of the Tiki Revival, and have been kept in storage for nearly 20 years. We have known of them in decades past but not many around anymore. These are truly rare. A wonderful and amazing find! The lamps will be boxed and shipped very carefully and insured.
