Description: Interesting shaped, vintage pewter cider pitcher by DANFORTH, Woodbury, Conn. You can tell this piece has some age due to the way Conn. is abbreviated on the mark. It measures approximately 7 3/4" tall and is in good pre-owned condition with the start of patina both inside and out. The inside patina happened over the years as the piece was used and is very common. Ther is a small dent in the bottom by the mark (see pics) that doesn't show when it sits normal. I note two very minor and small somewhat flat areas on the bottom part of the bowl - you only find them when you look very carefully. They do not hurt a vintage cider pitcher like this but I want to disclose them for full disclosure.
