Click images to enlarge Description This ELEGANT cotton 1870's red, green and yellow Irish chain quilt is hand pieced and hand quilted, with an unusual diamond border. The quilt came out of central Indiana. It measures 88" X 90" and is in excellent condition, with the occasional light spot and no wear. The quilt feels strong and sturdy overall. There is straight line quilting throughout at 7-8 stitches to the inch. The back and hand stitched, rolled binding are the same aged white, and the batting is thin.
