Description: Elegant pair of metal Peacocks (possibly brass). Dark bronze color, lacquered, made in India, company unknown. Cast metal pieces have been welded together to make these figures. Very good condition. Nearly every part of this graceful pair has intricate detail, from the plume on the top of their heads down to the tip of their long feathers trailing behind them. Light bronze/gold color revealed every so often, primarily on tail feathers with cutouts -- see photos. Slight tarnishing here and there on feet, which are not lacquered. Perfect for a unique table centerpiece or to display as art pieces. Each peacock measures approximately 18 1/2 inches long x 5 1/4 inches wide x 11 inches high; each one weighs approximately 3.8 pounds. Due to the nature of antique/vintage items, occasional imperfections can be expected.
