Description: Original press photo of the Las Mojas quadrangle (Temple of the Nuns to the Spanish Conquistadores), Measuring 9.75" x 6.75". This is a rare pre-restoration photo. The city was initially discovered by Stephens and Catherwood in the 1840's. These antique press photos are really quite collectible for genres as the provenance is on the reverse side of the photo. I purchased as many of these early archaeological exploration photos as I could when they were first on the market, one of a kind and rare.
