This nostalgic, vintage-style journal has been stitched together with much affection. It is quite large, measuring in at 12 x 6 inches (with laces, etc. hanging out), with the "mouth" being 6 inches (the area that I cannot close, LOL). The cover features a vintage-style image presented inside a three-dimensional collage, showcasing several elements, including: lace, paper, fabric, seam binding, sari silk, and more. Lots of sewing throughout.Journal includes lots of scraps of vintage trim, doilies, vintage lace, and more. There are pockets and tuck spots, pull outs and surprises throughout. It's chunky and pretty and made to hide a secret you hold close to your heart. The journal has vintage laces and also newer laces that I coffee-dyed for that wonderful vintage patina.
