Large Earthenware Fluted Fruit Bowl Carnation, Sigma, Made in Italy, 12 1/2"

Description: Gorgeous handpainted earthenware fruit bowl marked "924 Made in Italy." I was immediately drawn to it and considered using it in my own kitchen. The details and colors are beautiful, and the design has been discontinued. It is fluted with scalloped detailing. It is heavy, weighing 2 pounds and 10 ounces, and measures 12 1/2" in diameter. Perfect for fruit or a large serving dish. There is a cracking at the rim, which I tried capturing by photo. It doesn't appear to have gone through the ceramic, nor is it noticeable without scrutiny.
