Description: Chimayo hand woven wool rug about 83 inches by 51 inches. It has a red background with turquoise blue, ivory, black, and grey colors. It is reverseable. I took photos of both sides of the rug. It could be used as a heavy blanket it weighs about 4.5 pounds. Or as a tapestry. It is not signed or has a makers mark that I could find. It is very clean with a couple of small spots. There is some fading on the edges and a corner where it was folded. There is a slight spices smell like curry spices. I think it was stored in household and taken out on special occasions. From the signs of use that I see. I did find a small hole about .25 of an inch wide. And the end of the yarn by the fring has come undone. See photos.
