Description: Vintage large Cabinet Card Photo of the S.S. Scotian photographed by W.T. Munns, Gravesend England (they're still in business!) circa 1910s. The Scotian was launched in 1898 and originally named the Statendam but was renamed the Scotian in 1911. Name changed again in 1922 and she was scrapped in 1927. This image appears to have been a gift from a couple of gentleman named Frank and Fred as handwritten on back is 'We both join in thanking you for your kind remembrance' and it looks like they each signed in upper corners on front. Can't make out their last names. Measures 12 x 8" overall. Condition is good photo has foxing (or it is possibly quality of photo) lower left of card is breaking away and there are scuffs and wear along edges. This 'ships' fast and FREE!
