Description: For bid is a SIGNED, original circa 1935 etching illustration of three men in a PINBALL ARCADE, playing flat table pinball games in a small room during the Great Depression era in United States history. Humorous but almost gloomy scene… Men are in wrinkled suits, looking disheveled and ADDICTED to playing those games of chance! Nickel machines. Sign on the wall: “THESE GAMES FOR AMUSEMENT ONLY. Nate.” Man facing away left of center MAY be playing a handle slot machine. One armed bandit? It’s hard to tell 100%. Large etching on French bond paper. Paper sheet from France measures just under 13 inches wide by 10 inches tall. Etching is not signed in pencil. Only indication of who the artist is May be gleaned from a single letter “L” at lower left side of artwork. See my pics. Light diagonal fold line. Not too deep. Some moisture drops. These affect the image / artwork. Etching will be mailed rolled unless other arrangements are made. Thank you for looking!
