It will grow large with time with no issues of insects or disease. Coreopsis is used medicinally for a few interesting things: A tea made from the roots is emetic and is also used in the treatment of gastrointestinal problems. An infusion of the whole plant without the root has been used by women desiring a female baby. We have never experimented with this plant, but thought these uses were too odd to be a myth!
