How does it work?: The Quick-Rink’s operation is simple and convenient. After connecting the power cord to the unit’s remote-controlled outlet and your power source, just open a hole in the ice, unfold the unit’s “arms” (which are extendable to work in holes with a 5” to 12” diameter), place the Quick-Rink in the hole, and use the remote control to turn it on. This will quickly draw water from below the ice and send it through the unit’s convenient ¾” connection, to which you can attach a standard garden hose or one of the Quick-Rink’s helpful accessories to customize rink creation to your liking. Functionality: No more cobbling together several different incongruent products or parts, attempting to make improvised designs work, or struggling with difficult tools and hardware in the freezing cold. The Quick-Rink - on its own - replaces makeshift designs featuring under-powered, low quality water pumps, extension cords, suction hoses, and the mounting “systems” used to hold them all together. The Quick-Rink’s long profile gives it access to warmer water that is held beneath the ice’s surface that, similar to the effect of a zamboni, melts existing surface ice, correcting imperfections in the ice and allowing it to freeze smoothly. It draws over 2000 gallons of water per hour, allowing you to quickly flood - or help to resurface - your rink quickly and effectively. Equipment: The Quick-Rink offers more than time-savings and convenience; quality parts are used throughout to ensure a long-lasting, reliable product. It features a powerful 1 HP stainless steel motor/pump combo that runs on standard 110-volt power (220-volt units also available) and features a filter to ensure clean water as well as an automatic thermal shut-down mechanism for maximum protection.
