She was a 17,321 GT ship with dimensions of 565'x75'. Triple screw, 20 knots, motorship. Two masts and one funnel. Launched June 10, 1944. Scuttled at Port de Bouc by the Germans: raised and reconditioned after World War II. Commenced service under name of LA MARSEILLAISE. Service: France-Far East via Suz Canal. Renamed: A) AROSA SKY (1957) then (B) BIANCA C. (1958). Destroyed by fire off St. George's Grenada, Oct 22, 1961 while cruise trip to the West Indies.
