Description: KUTMASTER, Utica, N.Y. Stockman Pocketknife Vin 1950s-60s: Here is a very good example of an "every day carry" pocketknife. The pattern is the standard stockman with 3-blades, "sharpen on Sunday, cut all week". Blades are near full and none are broken. Main blade seems to have cut-through something that was caustic and left a stain and etch; oddly, it only appears on the front side of the blade. Curious. Brass frame is clean, square and intact, as are the springs. Blades walk and talk but be aware that the two smaller blades are not broken-in yet. You might need to zinc-plate your thumbnail to open them. Bolsters shine; pins don't show and have not been tightened. Plastic handles are basically brown, but they have lighter swatches on both handles. This a good looking knife when closed, but the blade stain might be too conspicuous for some buyers. Too bad, you're passing up a good working tool. Mailing only to USA-48. Postage is usually between $5.00 and $6.26. Buyer pays $4.00, I will pay the rest. Please buy another knife and save postage. I am liquidating my entire collection; please keep me in your favorite sellers, watching for Old Bryan's Old Knives or the seller name below.
