Description: I bought these speakers in the late 1980’s from a guy who had a small Christian rock band. I paid a LOT of money for them back then. Except for a few months after my divorce these have always been inside in a climate controlled environment. The few months they were in storage, it was in a partially climate controlled storage complex. For the past 15 years, I have barely used these. My CD player broke 20 years ago and I never replaced it. I have had these hooked up only to watch movies or football in our bonus room with a movie projector. My wife has always complained that these speakers are too big. So, since I am not really using them to even of a fraction of their potential, I decided to sell them and buy some smaller speakers. These have been painted with a rattle can and the speaker material has been replaced. If you wanted to restore these to museum quality, they would probably need to be sanded and retextured to look exactly like they looked like new. The speaker material is not factory cloth. But, they look fine. As far as I know, there is nothing wrong with these. They don’t crackle or anything. But, again, I have not had any really high quality music played through them in 20 years. One of the screw holes for the grills must have stripped out, because there is one escutcheon for one of the screws. That was there when I bought them. These are awesome speakers with very few hours of use given the age.
