Description: Antique traveling inkwell in a steel casing.I found several online references to the KK PRIV mark on the top of the inkwell. Some attribute the inkwell to late 1800's to early 1900's.Some references say this is from the Austrian navy, others claim Russian navy. I cannot say for certain.CONDITION: the leather on the outside is missing. It was spring loaded, but the button is missing, and the spring is rusted inside the casing. The glass insert is intact but has (what appears to be) blue dried ink residue inside. The lid does not close properly, since the spring lock function is missing. The inkwell is approximately 2" in diameter and 1 5/8" tall. Please see all pictures.
