KITCHEN APRON from VTG "BRODERIE" Tablecloth w/"OLD FASHION" Couple/Red Gingham

Description: Welcome to my Store, this listing is for a pretty and rare Half Kitchen APRON recently handmade using one whole side from a Mid-century preowned 100% cotton White small BRODERIE Tablecloth printed only using red, medium blue and dark navy blue colors over white, have a cute Printed design made with a pretty young Lady wearing an old-fashion Dress, -she looks like an Italian girl dancing the Tarantella, an OLD Gardener guy holding his rake and a cute kind of Southwest Donkey pulling a cart full of vegetables, the original tablecloth was in good shape, but had issues of small broken stitches in the weave of the fabric around the top side of the Rake - I just covered those using a piece of a white cotton woven iron-on interfacing in the backside with some minimal stitches and some pesky pointy dark brown stains were covered with some small stitches very hard to see in the pictures and also in the top border of the right side in the Red Apron the Lady is wearing used to be a single rounded brown stain I did cover using some satin stitches in red color, by no mean is a perfect job but I least I was able to made this Apron with all the images everybody will enjoy, this Apron is not for everyday use, is just for Display, on vintage Mannequins or just the way you like to do it. I used the original fabric to made the skirt of the Apron, added the classic 1/4" wide red and white medium weight gingham cotton fabric to made the waistband and the border hem trim the was finished with a brand new super jumbo Navy Blue rickrack ribbon sewn in between the fabrics for a little accent, the long tiebacks/sashes were made with brand new cotton fabric, please check all the pictures we took of all those repairs. - the Apron skirt is 19.25 inches long in the center front without counting the waistband and 43 inches around the skirt- waistband is 20 inches long and 1.75 inches wide- tiebacks are 46 inches long in each side and 1.5 inches wide I love to up-cycled vintage linens and do different new things with them, this is really a one of a kind Apron, the print is just precious, I never see this print before in this kind of almost perfect condition, because of the long tiebacks will fit almost all Misses sizes, the fabric was wash before the sewing and the apron was press with no starch, I made it in Mid-century fashion style, is perfect gift to that special Lady who collect vintage linens and for a Farmhouse Kitchen decor, everybody will love it!!!
