The first was the rock/punk phase, the second the rock/concept phase, the third the concept/rock phase and the last arena rock. This album fits into the concept/rock phase, their least successful period. The difference between phase 2 & 3 is, again in my estimation, rock songs containing concepts in individual songs and concept albums with rock songs plugged in along an overall concept offered.
