Description: *** I SHIP TO ADDRESSES IN THE USA ONLY *** This handsome Pottery Mug was manufactured to commemorate the Coronation of T.M. King George V and Queen Mary in 1911. This mug was hand-made and shows "G R" with a crown at the top. A spray of national flowers is just below. The other side features the commemoration by the BOROUGH OF POOLE: "CORONATION OF KING GEORGE V AND QUEEN MARY 22 JUNE 1911" by L.D. BALLARD, MAYOR. Around the upper rim is some missing brown glaze (at the time of firing?), but what is there matches the brown glaze on the handle. The underside shows no indication of the manufacturer. This piece is in EXCELLENT CONDITION. This will be a beautiful addition to your collection. There is no original box or certificate of authenticity.
