Description: This great looking German Round Top Antique grandfather clock strikes a bim bam on the half hour and counts out the hour with a bim bam strike on 5 rods. There are 2 hammers together and 3 hammers together that strike what is termed “bim bam” on the 5 rods. Great sounding. It has been running in our home for several years but we moved recently and there is no room in our new smaller house. I have a very nice MCM George Nelson designed for Howard Miller clock for sale as well, just look at my “other items”. Anyway, this clock is ready to go, in great condition and I can give the new owner some pointers about how to operate it. It is 77” high(6 ft 5”) and 20” wide at the bottom and 11.5” deep again at the bottom. The wood is in great condition, the glass is in great condition as are all the parts, weights, pendulum etc. The movement is marked “Original Kieninger” with a 78700 serial number. It has a beat adjuster where the pendulum hangs to make it tick evenly no matter the angle of the case. It sounds great, runs great and will make a great addition to any home. If you arrange for the shipping and pay for it I can be flexible with the company you choose, or preferably you will come and pick it up. Either way I can pack it for you so it arrives safely. As you can see in the pictures the movement/dial/board all slide out the front easily for moving. I live within 2 miles of the Dallas Cowboys stadium in Arlington Texas.
