Description: Keokuk, IA 1916 postcard, K & T Dutch boy empty pockets, postage due, posted This colorful card was sent to my late grandmother in Montrose, Iowa from a friend in Keokuk. The "Keokuk, IA." part is on a banner made of blue felt. One cent stamp was canceled September 18, 1916 in Keokuk. The post office has marked it "Due 1 cent." On one end is printed:"This card may be mailed for 1 cent if address and greeting such as "Yours Truly" with signature of sender is written. If message is written also, 2 cents postage is required." Handling wear to edges and corners. Light surface soiling. Yellowing to card. Someone has written "during Street Fair" above part of the sentiment, which reads:"It costs me somedingsinKeokuk, IA.But Vat issde use mit my millionsiff I don'd spend 'em." I will ship as soon as I receive payment.
