It was extremely successful and some of the toys issued by Kenner Toys are still sought after to this day. In 1995, in an attempt to reinvigorate the franchise, Kenner created completely new action figure designs, but when it came to the vehicles in the series Kenner elected to update/modify the vintage seventies and eighties toys. The new molds from 1995 were basically the same as the original designs, because the originals were very true to the movies. They evolved by having more authentic, real-movie aesthetics that were applied to the excellent tooling. The level of decoration on each vehicle was improved to a more advanced level of graphics. You are bidding on a Kenner Star Wars POTF Electronic Millennium Falcon from 1995. is a large action figure vehicle that features removable panels to reveal the ship's interior, flashing lights, and plays sounds from the films. It requires two C batteries (thankfully not included). Please note: Although this toy is brand new and factory sealed, it is nearly 30 years old. I can not guarantee that the electronics are working. Because it is being sold as NOS (new old stock), I am selling this item as-is. The good news is that Kenner did not include batteries, otherwise leaking batteries may have caused damage over the years. This action figure play set was purchased by me when first issued from Toys-R-Us and has been in storage ever since. The box is in wonderful near mint condition with some minor shelf wear including some scratching, scuffing, price sticker and extra tape. There are also some surface cuts on bottom of box. It does, however, display beautifully. I have done my best to take up close pics of the flaws (see the last 7 pictures).
