These coins have been purchased directly from the US mint and are nice uncirculated coins. From 2002 to present, Kennedy halves were not put into circulation. They were only minted for the collectors’ channel at a premium price(+75% of face value). Although the mintage dropped 80% and their value has gone up, they are still Business strike coins.
