This specimen is an excellent example of a twinned single set of crystals, Fluorite XL. (fl. violet SW & LW) from the Rogerley Mine, Frosterley, Weardale, County Durham, United Kingdom. Nice example of this species from this locale, with distinct single twinned crystal fluorescing brightly! Displays wonderfully and is a good miniature size. The size of the specimen is 1-1/2" (3.8 cm) by 1-1/2" (3.8 cm) by 1-1/2" (3.8 cm), a miniature sized specimen. Great to add to a competitive display. Check this and my many other offerings now and in the days to come. The fluorescent picture(s) are under SW UV light, I am using a Superbright SW lamp (13W).
