This specimen is an excellent example of Scheelite (fl. blue and yellow SW) and non-fluorescent Wolframite and Quartz from Dolni Bory, Czech Republic. FANTASTIC example of this fluorescent species from this locale! The fluorescent area consists of concentrated and disseminated SCHEELITE in/on matrix. Might be some powellite too. The predominant fluorescence under SW UV light is blue and yellow. Displays wonderfully. The size of the specimen is 4" (10 cm) by 3" (7.5 cm) by 2-1/2" (6.3 cm), a nice sized cabinet specimen.
