Description: This vintage KASCO POTTERY spongeware pitcher was made in 1986 by Kasco's founder Alan Kasman -- it's signed "AK."This pitcher is 8 in. tall and measures 4 3/4 in. from the tip of the spout to the farthest point on the rim. The base is 5 in. in diameter. The top band before the side flares out is about 2-1/4 in. wide. This is a medium sized pitcher and beautiful blue sponge work covers the exterior over a beige/tan base. The pitcher is finished off with a shiny glaze and the piece has retained its luster and beauty since the pitcher's creation in 1986, over 36 years ago.
