Fortess (1907-1993), WPA, surrealist, landscape artist, has works exhibited in many museums, including MOMA, Whitney, Metropolitan Museum, and Woodstock Art Association. This wonderful work is titled "Home Sweet Home." Pencil signed, it is a very small edition of 20, of which this is number 3. Image measures 9 1/2" x 14". It has a little color in it, in the form of a grey background. Matted and framed under glass, total dimensions are 16 1/2" x 21". Retains original gallery label on the back.
