Description: Kaptain Sunshine Balmacaan Traveler Coat (Super 140s Double-Cloth Brown Melton wool) purchased from No Man Walks Alone. Probably my favorite overcoat of all time (A-frame silhouette, cheeky ticket pocket, equestrian straps, a handsome collar), but selling since it's too small now. Size: Tagged size 38 (would say fits true to size. Some older posts may suggest sizing down, but I personally would NOT advise that. An A-framed balmacaan coat like this looks better with some drape) Fabric: I wanted to bring special attention to the fabric. It's made out of a heavy, dense melton wool. I've never met a wool coat this dense! I feel a lot of coats, even those made of melton wool, feel too "soft", and don't actually feel that substantial in cold weather. This coat feels super-insulating, and the density of the wool of helps the collar stay up and keep the lines of the coat (I wish all my coats were made of this fabric!). When I unfortunately came to the conclusion this coat was too small now, I initially wanted to re-buy the Traveler coat in a bigger size, only to discover that KS switched up the fabric! Current iterations have a much softer melton wool and don't feel as substantial, which was disappointing since the fabric of this coat was one of my favorite aspects.
